Maintenance Operative

Hays are partnered with a social housing group who own and manage around 10,000 homes for social rent and shared ownership, and plan to build many more over the next five years.
Your new role
We're looking for a Multi Trade Operative to complete a wide range of duties and responsibilities relating to reactive and planned works, particularly focused on UPVC/Composite units.A typical day will involve completing installations, repairs and maintenance work encompassing glazing to windows, doors, and associated furniture (i.e. handles, locks and finishes). You'll also keep and maintain records for audit purposes, ensure we always work in line with rules, regulations and our contract and make sure you're always focused on service and safety.You'll have experience in a similar all-round multi-trade role with experience in UPVC/Composite units.
What you'll need to succeed (Compulsory)

• Previous experience in a similar all-round multi-trade role within occupied properties.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Trade Qualification at National Vocational Qualification 2 or City & Guilds Equivalent
• Certification for Fire Risk Assessment Works.

Due to the nature of the role being within occupied premises, you will be asked to complete an enhanced DBS check if offered the role.
