Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Location: Wolverhampton

Type: Full time, Permanent

Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm

Salary:£45,000 to £50,000 per annum



The Company:

My client is a plastic manufacturing company, and is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager for their Wolverhampton site. Their products are applied within the construction, automotive, marine and leisure industries. The company has over 30 years of experience in the UK market, becoming a leading UK based plastic extrusion manufacturer.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to projects and be involved in performing maintenance and reactive tasks as well as managing a small team of engineers.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with a small team of engineers, provide training, schedule planned maintenance
  • Systems such as electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic will be serviced.
  • Maintain and upgrade existing plant machinery and equipment at the maintenance workshop following safe engineering procedures to minimize costs.
  • Work on welding equipment, grinders, mills, and lathes
  • Respond promptly to equipment failures and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Coordinate with specialized contractors for specific maintenance needs.



Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship/Time Served or Level 3 qualification
  • Multi Skilled
  • Manufacturing experience, preferably heavy industry
