A great opportunity to join a successful logistics / automation company as a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer working at a well-known retailer’s automated distribution centre in Derbyshire. This role will suit Maintenance Engineers located in East Derbyshire, South Nottingham, North Leicester, or Burton on Trent / Swadlincote areas.

  • Salary up to c£49,000 (including shift premium) + Paid OT
  • Panama shift pattern (12 hour days and nights)

Day to day activities of a Maintenance Engineer include :

  • Reactive maintenance
  • Planned maintenance
  • Electro-mechanical engineering
  • Controls fault finding
  • Problem analysis and continuous improvement

Looking for multi skilled Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineers, ideally with an understanding of PLC’s.

Requirements of Maintenance Engineer:

  • Ideally fully apprenticeship trained with electro-mechanical Level 3 qualifications
  • Good level of electrical and mechanical knowledge from a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Working knowledge of PLC control systems
  • Experience of automated materials handling systems would also be an advantage but not essential
  • Happy to work a panama shift pattern with days and nights.
