As a Machine Shop Manager for our client your duties will include;

  • Managing the team in the machine shop and utilising a computerised management system
  • Incorporating your own expertise to ensure the smooth progression of items through the factory
  • Keen planning to meet customer requirements
  • Overseeing continual expansion within the department

The successful Machine Shop Manager will require;

  • Experience of an engineering background and able to demonstrate a high level of expertise in machining processes, specifically CNC
  • Have a broad knowledge of manufacturing processes including sawing, plasma cutting and sheet metal work
  • Excellent computer skills
  • High level of communication skills when liaising with both colleagues and customers
  • Management experience
