They are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join their growing team.

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge solutions that leverage machine learning and artificial intelligence to enhance the performance, safety, and efficiency of their automotive systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy machine learning models that power autonomous driving, predictive maintenance, intelligent navigation, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop machine learning algorithms and models for various automotive applications, including autonomous driving, computer vision, natural language processing, and predictive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and domain experts to integrate machine learning solutions into existing automotive systems and platforms.
  • Collect, preprocess, and analyse large datasets from sensors, cameras, and other sources to train and validate machine learning models.
  • Optimise machine learning algorithms for performance, scalability, and reliability in real-world automotive environments.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning, deep learning, and related technologies, and evaluate their potential applications in the automotive industry.

What they are looking for in Machine Learning Engineer are:

  • Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models for real-world applications, preferably in the automotive or robotics industry.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java, and experience with machine learning libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, and statistical methods.
  • Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with sensor fusion, localisation, mapping, and path planning algorithms for autonomous vehicles.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark).
  • Knowledge of software development best practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and agile methodologies.
