Tradewind is looking for a qualified Teaching Assistant to work long-term in a Warrington Primary School.

The role is to start ASAP and is a full-time, long-term role for the full academic year. In order to be successful, you will need a Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) and prior experience supporting students in a Teaching Assistant role.

The school is Ofsted rated 'Good' and is home to dedicated staff who nurture and help every child to face their individual challenges with courage and determination and to discover their own unique talents and strengths.

The successful candidate will hold relevant qualifications and be able to:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to raising standards through classroom support
  • Promote the inclusion and well-being of all pupils
  • Set high expectations for themselves and the children
  • Show flexibility and draw on a range of strategies in helping pupils achieve positive outcomes in their learning
  • Maintain a high-quality learning environment

Essential Requirements:

  • Hold an Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or are willing to undertake a new one
  • Full and complete 10-year career history
  • Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
  • Legal right to work in the UK
