Lettings Negotiator

Our clients are a well-established Lettings & Property Management company looking for a Lettings Negotiator to join their busy and friendly team in Pinner.

This role would suit a candidate with 2 or more years’ experience as either a Junior Lettings Negotiator or Lettings Negotiator.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a proven track record including problem-solving and excellent customer service levels. To have a passion for the lettings industry and have knowledge of current lettings legislation.

Aside from a good work ethic and positive attitude, they are looking for someone who is polite and well presented, flexible, well organised, and able to think on their feet; someone who will go above and beyond who has great customer service.

Reporting to the Senior Lettings Negotiator, you will be responsible for:

•Developing relationships with existing and new landlords

•Assisting in the efficient progression of agreed deals

•Having a good understanding of Agreements and Clauses/Industry Regulations

•Responding to telephone and website leads

•Using Rightmove and Zoopla back office to analyse and monitor performance

•Being proactive and thinking outside the box to attract new business

•Troubleshooting and working with other departments to problem solve

•Understanding of Accounts to be able to discuss queries with Accounts Department,

•Chase outstanding rents/fees

•Attracting new business and increasing market share

•Working closely with all departments - Accounts, Renewals and Property Management

•When tenants serve notice, notifying the Landlord and liaising with Property Management, negotiating new fees, and putting the property back on the market

•Liaising with solicitors for advice

•Communicating with Goodlord and getting the best out of the service

•Updating internal documents

•Setting up properties to be marketed

Requirements:

•Minimum of 2 years’ experience as either Junior Lettings Negotiator or a Lettings Negotiator

•ARLA qualified Level 2 at least or equivalent (opportunities to gain more qualifications will be encouraged), or working/wanting to work towards it

•Full clean driving license and own vehicle
