Lettings Manager / Property Manager Salary £25,000 to £30,000 DOE - Worcestershire/ Shropshire Borders
My client is a leading agricultural and rural Estate Agent/ surveyor in the local area, and moving into 2024 are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lettings Manager to join our team. As a Lettings Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the rental and leasing of properties, ensuring efficient and effective operations. Your role will involve managing a portfolio of 150properties and providing excellent customer service to both landlords and tenants.
The role will be dual, although property management is a big part of the role, you will also get paid a commission on any new landlords or properties you bring into the business.
ARLA qualified would be preferred, although not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting property viewings and inspections
- Marketing and advertising available properties
- Screening and selecting suitable tenants
- Negotiating rental agreements and lease terms
- Collecting rent payments and managing arrears
- Handling maintenance requests and coordinating repairs
- Resolving tenant disputes or issues
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Keeping up-to-date with market trends and rental prices
Skills:
- Strong administrative skills to handle paperwork, contracts, and financial records
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple properties and tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to interact with landlords, tenants, and contractors
