An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lettings Accountant to work for this highly regarded firm of surveyors and estate agents at their friendly and welcoming office based in the heart of the Surrey Hills.

You will be providing accounts support to landlords, tenants and lettings offices; therefore, you will ideally have experience working within a property accounts role with knowledge of Reapit. However, our client is also willing to consider someone with accounts experience within a similar industry.

The accounts team strives on providing an excellent level of service and, as such, you will be polite and professional when dealing with clients and have the ability to work to tight deadlines. It is important that you take a personable approach to work and be able to work well as part of a team as well as independently.

Personal specification:

• Previous experience in this field would be preferred, but is not required as full training will be provided
• IT literate and strong MS Office skills, including Word and Excel
• Knowledge of Reapit software would be a bonus, though exposure to using software in a business environment would be beneficial
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good attention to detail.

The salary on offer will be in the region of £25,000 to £28,000 dependent on previous experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.
