Leisure Club Manager £35,000 to £40,000 basic DOE - Country House Hotel, Golf, Health club & Spa in Warwickshire

Leisure People are delighted to be working with one of the most beautiful hotels in the Warwickshire countryside.

Facilities include a 110 bedroom luxury 4 star hotel with three restaurants,18 hole Golf course, banqueting and conference suites. State of the art Health club and Spa.

This is the ideal location for fairy-tale weddings, Spa Weekend and Golf breaks and makes coming to work every day a pleasure.

You will need to have experience within the Wellness Industry, working within the leisure, health club or Golf club sector.

We are looking for candidates with a good understanding of Operations, Health & Safety, Pool/Plant, Customer Service with an understanding of leadership, good people skills and business acumen.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Working alongside and supporting the Managing Director and General Manager, the main responsibilities of the Leisure Club Manager will be:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of The Health Club and supporting the team in the smooth running of their departments.
  • Prepare and Manage budgets and Financial reports
  • Assist with Team recruitment, on-boarding, training and development to help provide our members with outstanding customer
  • Ensuring team communication is effective
  • Take part in HOD meetings to ensure all departments collaborate across Club timetables, events and that all operations run smoothly.
  • Maintain a constant presence, ensuring an outstanding member experience is delivered at all times.
  • To maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the members and Team.
  • Operational responsibilities such as health and safety checks, pool, and plant management.
  • Creating an environment where employees can achieve their full potential.
  • Assist in delivering health and safety training, best practice, and Club standards.

About you

  • Experience in a similar operational role
  • Preferably from a Leisure/Hospitality or Health club environment
  • Leadership capability, able to delegate effectively and a team player
  • Good team working skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Problem solving and ability to work under pressure essential.
  • Superb attention to detail and driven by delivering exceptional standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a passion to deliver a first-class service to our members.
  • An understanding of the leisure, fitness, and hospitality industry with a love of health and wellbeing is desirable but not essential.
  • Flexible and being willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays (as needed and when applicable).
