Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor.
Location: Watford, North London.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £35k + Training + Benefits
We are recruiting in the South East for a leading player in the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry. They are now seeking to take on a Legionella Risk Assessor to join their long-standing team. You will be conducting risk assessments across Local Authority, Commercial, Industrial, and Leisure sites, ensuring to maintain the company's high standards and excellent reputation. This role would suit someone who is looking to join a continuously growing and forward-thinking company. For the successful candidate, our client can offer opportunities for overtime and excellent overtime rates, generous holiday allowance, and company pension scheme. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be happy to travel and stay away due to client and company requirements.
The successful candidate will have excellent access to London and the surrounding areas: St Albans, Cheshunt, Hertford, Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, Luton, Stevenage, Bletchley, Slough, High Wycombe, Oxford, Bicester, Witney, Abington, Bishops Stortford, Harlow, Braintree, Saffron Walden, Chelmsford, Maldon.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Must hold the City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment.
" Previous / current experience working hands on as a risk assessor for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
" Exceptional knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Able to prioritize workload in line with company / client needs.
The Role:
" Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments on hot and cold-water systems on a mixed portfolio of sites.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with site specific schematic drawings.
" Creating schematic drawings.
" Producing legionella reports based on site findings.
" Upon completion of risk assessments, producing legionella management plans, ensuring that plans are implemented efficiently.
" Working in compliance with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Water sampling and temperature monitoring.
