Our well-established client is seeking a legal secretary to provide support to their busy private client team at the Cheam office.

responsibilities.

You will provide secretarial and administrative support to our private client team. The support will include typing, file management, diary management, telephone cover, invoicing and general office duties.

skills and experience required.
  • Legal secretarial experience, preferably within a private client team.
  • Strong typing skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Experience of case management systems and digital dictation.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and have an excellent telephone manner.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, have excellent client care skills and be able to multi-task and prioritise.
  • Dealing with clients in person, by telephone and correspondence, taking enquiries, making appointments and witnessing Wills.
  • General administration tasks, including typing letters from audio dictation and using precedents, filing, opening and closing files, photocopying, scanning and saving incoming post.
  • Preparing documents such as Lasting Powers of Attorney.
  • Highly motivated, proactive individual with good communication and organisational skills.
