Legal PA

Leading global law firm is seeking a Legal PA to join their Banking and Loan Finance team to provide a polished support service to Partners and Fee Earners on an initial 12-month fixed term contract.

The Legal PA will have proven experience gained in a Banking, Corporate or Finance practice group from a recognised law firm. The standard hours will be 9.30am to 5.30pm.

Legal PA Key Responsibilities:

  • Complex diary and travel management.
  • Diarising and supporting the monitoring of deadlines.
  • Arranging client entertainment and assisting with organisation of client seminars/conferences.
  • Preparation of agendas and meeting papers.
  • Responsibility for organising internal events (e.g., training sessions, social events).
  • Drafting emails and letters on behalf of Fee-Earners.
  • Research into clients as instructed by Fee-Earners.
  • Coordinating the billing process on behalf of Partners.
  • Supporting partners with creation of client presentation materials.
  • Supporting events in collaboration with Business Development.

Legal PA Key Requirements:

  • Previous Legal PA / Legal Secretary experience gained from a recognised law firm.
  • Experience gained from a Banking, Corporate or Finance practice group would be preferable.
  • Strong technical and good organisational skills.
  • Previous billing experience (3E desirable – this is a heavy billing role).
  • Fast, accurate typing skills.
  • Highly skilled on all MS Office applications.
  • Ability to be flexible to meet the demands of the work.
