Legal Officer

A Local Authority is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Officer to join their team. As a Legal Officer, you will be responsible for handling a large and varied housing disrepair caseload. You will need to have experience and knowledge of civil procedure rules, particularly the housing disrepair pre-action protocol.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a large and varied housing disrepair caseload
  • Have experience and knowledge of civil procedure rules, particularly the housing disrepair pre-action protocol
  • Instruct Counsel when necessary
  • Be computer literate
Requirements
  • A degree in Law or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary and Benefits

This is a 3-month contract position, paying £21-£25 per hour. As a Legal Officer, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and gain valuable experience in the legal field.
