Legal Customer Services & Complaints Assistant

• Location: Guildford

• Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

• Salary: £35,000 per annum

Our client is seeking a Legal Customer Services and Complaints Assistant to join their Compliance Department. This role is crucial in supporting both the Legal Customer Services and Complaints Manager and the wider team. The ideal candidate will have experience in property or litigation and possess excellent communication skills.

Day to Day of the Role:

• Triage enquiries and provide early resolution.

• Handle telephone calls and early client contact.

• Draft initial acknowledgements to complaints.

• Liaise with our lawyers on enquiries.

• Assist with client communication.

• Process bank payments.

• Prepare papers on file transfers and other administrative tasks.

• Engage in post-completion liaison, assisting with requisitions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in property or litigation is essential.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Organised approach with strong attention to detail.

• Good team player.

• Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.

• Proficient in problem-solving.
