We are currently assisting a prominent US-based Law Firm in their search for a Billing and Accounts Coordinator to be based in their London office. This is a full-time, permanent position.

The selected candidate will handle billing and credit management for the firm's London and Paris branches, manage weekly expenses, and provide general support to the accounting team.

This role presents an excellent chance for individuals aiming to advance their career within a distinguished law firm, or for those transitioning into a role that merges billing and accounting responsibilities within a professional setting.

The ideal candidate should possess at least 2 years of relevant experience in a law firm setting and should be adept at interacting with senior partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Regularly engage with Partners to manage client portfolios and update on status
  • Generate initial billing drafts and miscellaneous reports
  • Manage the editing and completion of billing drafts
  • Issue invoices and manage billing communications with Attorneys
  • Handle all billing inquiries from international offices
  • Coordinate with Partners on the status of outstanding invoices and ensure timely client payments
  • Communicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices as needed
  • Approve and review expense reports
  • Gather data for annual P11d documentation
  • Occasionally fill in for the Accounts Coordinator as needed

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar capacity within a law firm
  • Knowledge in both billing and accounting is preferred
  • Familiarity with Solicitors Accounts Rules, AML regulations, and VAT procedures
