Ryder Reid Legal are looking to recruit a talented Legal Biller to join one of our prestigious law firm clients on a permanent, hybrid working basis at their Cheltenham office. Our client, who specialise in IP, Media and Technology law, are looking for someone to come in and deliver a high-quality service with a focus on responsiveness, organisation, efficiency and helpfulness.

The duties of the position include:

  • Liaising with PAs in producing and preparing pre-bills within strict SLA timelines.
  • Attend billing meetings with partners and Revenue Controllers, to take instruction and prepare invoices for review by partners.
  • Respond to all billing queries promptly.
  • Ensure bills are finalised and despatched to the partner and PA.
  • Escalate issues and seek authorisation when required.
  • Raise Credit Notes in accordance with policy.
  • Handling write-offs of irrecoverable WIP & Disbursements.
  • Client & Matter data maintenance.
  • Supporting the wider Revenue Team with ad-hoc administration.

For this position, prior billing experience in a law firm or professional services is required, as is excellent communication and time management skills. Knowledge of Aderant is preferred but not essential.
