Legal Assistant / Paralegal

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor or Paralegal to join my client's personal injury department. The successful candidate will have experience in handling higher value multi-track cases through to trial, providing expert advice and support to our clients.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Advising clients and taking instructions to effectively manage their cases.
  • Handling Conditional Fee Agreements (CFAs) and After The Event (ATE) insurance.
  • Analysing disclosures to build strong cases.
  • Preparing witness statements that accurately convey the client’s situation.
  • Providing clear instructions to experts and counsel to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Assisting with the preparation of directions, costs budgets, and other essential court documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing multi-track personal injury cases through to trial.
  • Strong understanding of CFAs and ATE insurance.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess disclosures and evidence.
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive witness statements.
  • Experience in instructing experts and counsel effectively.
  • Familiarity with court procedures, including the preparation of directions and costs budgets.
