Who we need

We are looking for an Animal Care lecturer who is a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our faculty. The successful applicant will be able to teach City and Guilds Level 1 Diploma in Land Based Studies, Level 2 Technical Certificate in Animal Care and Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management.

You will be a responsible and confident teacher who has the skills to inspire both students and colleagues, and the ability to create innovative online learning resources is important as part of this role. We are looking for applicants that have experience in the animal care sector and particularly welcome those from veterinary nursing background.

What you’ll bring

With previous experience of teaching, you’ll have an imaginative approach that generates wonderfully creative lessons to fully engage and inspire your students, with ability to create innovative online learning resources is important as part of this role. For this role we are looking for people who:

  • Have experience in the animal care sector
  • Able to create and deliver engaging teaching, learning and assessment
  • Are passionate about teaching in the FE sector
  • Are committed to ensuring our students make the best progress possible
  • Are able to work in a demanding and changing environment
