Learning Support Assistant | Derbyshire, Ilkeston, DE7 | £95 - £105 per day | Start Date - Asap/September 2024

Our partner secondary school are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their vibrant secondary school. The school have positions for both May 2024 and September 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about supporting students in their academic and personal growth.

The Role:

  • Support students with additional needs, tailoring teaching methods to meet diverse needs
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to effectively support students
  • Monitor student progress, supporting them to reach targets
  • Demonstrate effective behaviour management skills
  • Support with creating a positive and inclusive environment for all students

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • A Relevant qualification or degree (desirable)
  • Experience of working with children with special educational needs (SEN)
  • A commitment to contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • An enhanced DBS and two references are a requirement for this role
