I am recruiting for a Lead Full Stack Developer for a fast-growing digital agency based in Poole. They work with exclusive customers, based locally and internationally in the US. You will remain hands-on and support the development team as you work with clients to create an organic relationship, ensuring true quality.

Your new role
Throughout their ten-year history, they have consistently delivered quality to their clients, so no pitching is needed as word of their exceptional service has spread across the market. This has resulted in most of their work being on a retainer basis, ensuring you will get time to work with your team to provide an exceptional and personal service to these impressive brands. You won't receive unrealistic timelines and will work closely with the hands-on senior team to realise your clients' goals. This unique business model has created a collaborative environment that truly feels different to other agencies.
In your day to day, you will remain hands-on and support your team in the transformation of global businesses. You will be building full corporate sites from the ground up, as well as creating bespoke web applications alongside a talented team of experienced Front-End Developers, Designers, Project Managers and Back-End Developers. They are a company committed to driving technical change and have been experimenting with Low Code/No-Code solutions to ensure convenience to their clients.
Just like yourself, the senior team continue to be hands-on and will supply you with all the tools needed to be successful as a Lead. They believe that true collaboration works best when in the office, so you will be required on site in their modern and bright office two days a week.

What you'll need to succeed
We're open to a Senior Developer who is ready to make the step-up, or an experienced Lead Developer ready for a new challenge. You'll be working full stack, so experience with PHP, Laravel/WordPress, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript, is a must.
You won't just be building one- or two-page sites, they are looking to test the limitations of Laravel on full corporate web builds.
Ideally, you are someone with agency experience who understands the need to chop and change on the go, so familiarity with Agile would ensure success. As a lead, you will be expected to be active in meetings and communicate clearly with your clients to help them achieve their long-term goals.
