Laboratory Operations Manager

This Brigg Scientific Client are a Certification testing company located at sites within the Northwest. They currently have a vacancy for a Senior Laboratory Manager to manage one of their Physical chemistry Laboratories on the outskirts of Warrington.

This is a Senior appointment and completion of the following duties is required.

• Management and maintenance of a ISO 17025
• Team management including appraisals, training and control.
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Upgrading customer support/service provisions
• Understanding and developing Testing standards

The ideal candidate will come from a Laboratory Management background, familiar with managing teams of 10 - 30 people in size and will have 17025 management experience and be a strong leader with the presence to guide, build and develop both a key laboratory service function, but also the team within.

Hours are Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm.

Salary on offer is quite a wide range and that because it depends on how experienced the candidate is and what support they will need from the Testing Director.

Salary range will be in the region of £45 - £65,000
