The Job You’ll Do;

  • To implement and monitor Quality Control procedures.
  • Reception and testing of bulk deliveries and pre-shipment samples.
  • Ensure correct paperwork / security tags on incoming bulk tanker arrival prior to off-load.
  • Ensure that the sample received from the tanker is analysed and conforms to EU Regulations as well as customer specifications.
  • Monitoring the storage of products.
  • Ensure all products stored in tank farm are checked and inform QA Management of any issues.
  • Communicate with tank room operatives to ensure that customer specification is adhered to and appropriate quality standards are maintained.
  • Ensure products are acceptable for packaging.
  • Carry out checks online to ensure the final product is of high quality and meets customer specifications.
  • Inspection of raw materials in line with agreed specifications.
  • Routine laboratory testing of all products.
  • Online quality controls including volumes, essential parameters and labelling.
  • The completion of relevant Q.C. documentation.
  • Sampling for independent analytical and microbiological tests.
  • Update and maintain all QA and production records as required.
  • Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with current H&S, environmental and food safety legislation and procedures.
  • Use all PPE and equipment as instructed.
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
  • Report any serious malfunctions or risks to a responsible person.

About You;

  • Experience within Quality Control/Analysis or similar.
  • Experience within Engineering/Manufacturing.
  • Lab experience (desirable).
  • IT literate.
  • Willingness to work a 3x shift pattern.
  • Able to work well within a team.
