The Graduate
To be successful in this KS2 Teaching Assistant role, you must have at least a bachelor's degree with a genuine passion for education. You will hold outstanding interpersonal skills which will aid your ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. It is essential that you are flexible and adaptable to ensure the effective support of each individual student, and that you have a positive attitude to foster a welcoming learning environment. Prior experience of working with children is beneficial, but not essential.

The Role
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in the support and assistance of teaching staff and pupils across KS2. You will work in both 1-2-1 and small group settings to aid the learning and progress of students and will participate in the adaptation of learning materials to ensure that the needs of all children are met in the classroom. First and foremost, it will be your responsibility to support the teaching staff in classroom management and ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
