The Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, or a related field.
  • Completed, or soon-to-be completed, PGCE with QTS.
  • Warm, friendly personality with a clear communication style.
  • Commitment to planning and delivering high-quality lessons.
  • Dedication to the wellbeing and learning of KS2 pupils.
  • Aspiration to achieve a successful career in teaching.
  • Previous experience of working with children advantageous but not essential.

The Role
In your role a s KS2 ECT, you will engage in the planning and delivering of innovative, exciting lessons to ensure the progression and engagement of under-achieving pupils as they approach their SATs examinations. You will monitor and assess the progression of KS2 pupils and provide constructive feedback to both pupils and parents. You will use your understanding of individual children to adapt learning materials and lesson plans to suit their unique needs. At the centre of your role will be the preservation of a positive and inspiring learning environment which will be achieved via the formation of strong bonds with staff and pupils.
