KS2 Classroom Teacher - Surrey, England

Are you an experienced primary teacher looking for an exciting new role this September? Then you're in the right place! Quantum Scholars are currently hiring on behalf of a primary school in Surrey who are looking for a KS2 Classroom Teacher (exact year group yet to be confirmed, but it will teaching ages anything between 4 - 7).

This is a permanent position starting in September 2024. The ideal applicant must have experience teaching around ages 4 - 7 in a classroom setting and hold a certified teaching qualification.

Right to work in the UK is essential for this role.

The school is situated in a very desirable town just outside of Woking, in the home county of Surrey. It is located within a short walking distance from a train station and also offers free onsite parking.

As a classroom teacher you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Lesson planning and preparation
  • Checking pupils' work and providing feedback
  • Attending parents' evenings
  • Creating learning resources
  • Assessing student progress
  • Supporting with extracurricular activities when needed
  • Following and implementing an approved learning framework
