Job description
Are you looking for a KP role with a fantastic team? We are currently seeking a Kitchen Porter to join the team for our client in a newly refurbished bar and grill located in 80 acres of stunning woodland on the north Norfolk coast.

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to prepare high-quality food for our customers. You’ll be responsible for assisting with food preparation, including washing and cutting vegetables, meats, and other ingredients. You’ll also keep the kitchen and surrounding areas clean and tidy, including washing dishes and utensils, and cleaning work surfaces and floors. You’ll follow food hygiene and safety guidelines to ensure that all food is prepared and stored safely.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn new skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team. A good understanding of food hygiene and safety guidelines is essential, as is the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. While previous experience in a kitchen is preferred, it is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Our client is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive working environment where everyone is encouraged to develop their skills and advance their careers. They offer plenty of opportunities for career development and advancement within the company, so if you are passionate about food and would like to join our team, they would love to hear from you.
