Junior Sous Chef - Hospitality, EC3 London, £34k + overtime

Based in the City of London, this prestigious site has a busy hospitality department. The food produced here is of the highest quality and ranges from working lunches to canapés and sit down formal dinners. All food is freshly prepared using seasonal ingredients and presentation is essential.

As the Junior Sous Chef, you will be
* Working as part of a team to produce fresh seasonal food
* Supporting the Head Chef in the running of the kitchen
* Managing junior members of the team

Working hours will be Monday to Friday, approx. 40 hours per week with some evenings as required.

You as the ideal candidate would be
* a Chef De Partie or Senior Chef de Partie with a stable career history in high end hospitality catering
* experienced within corporate hospitality with some fine dining experience ideally in a Michelin star or Rosette restaurant
* a good team player as well as able to use initiative
* genuinely passionate about food and ingredients as well as up to date with trends and concepts
* attentive to detail and presentation with flair and creativity
* able to communicate well with others and have strong organizational skills
* flexible and willing with a positive can do attitude
