Junior Pricing Analyst

One of our global retail clients are looking for a Junior Pricing Analyst to support both the Marketing and Finance departments with all aspects concerning with pricing.

Reporting into the Senior Pricing Analyst, you’d be involved in reviewing, analysing and supporting pricing strategy decisions.

Main areas of the job include:

• Analyse and maintain prices to ensure they are in line with guidelines.
• Timely and accurate production of customer price lists.
• Investigate price errors suggesting process improvements to reduce future impact.
• Analyse and produce the monthly price error reports.
• Provide insight and analysis into pricing strategies.
• Analyse and make recommendations to drive best practices within the commercial finance function.

Skills required:

• Strong data entry and database management skills.
• Good IT skills including intermediate Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail is essential.
• Strong communication skills.
• Analytically minded.
• Commercial awareness would be very useful.

This is a one-year fixed term contract with the potential to become permanent, and would suit someone who is looking for a stepping stone into the world of commerce.
