Are you a mechanically biased apprentice leaver looking for a home based role that provides a company van, training on electrical fault finding and the responsibility to work independently?

On offer is the position of Service Engineer in this long-established Generator Service company with contracts to maintain critical backup power systems found in hospitals, city banks and data centres. They have two sides of the business - service and projects.

You will be joining the very well respected service team, with progression prospects to move onto the project side of the business. The role pays door-to-door and focuses heavily on planned preventative maintenance. There is an on call rota 1 week in 5, but they are exceedingly rare. There are plenty of opportunities to increase your earnings through overtime paid at 1.5x, with 2x pay on Sunday.

This role would suit a Junior Mechanical Engineer, apprentice leaver or Generator Engineer looking for a stable role offering door-to-door pay, a local patch and overtime opportunities.
The Role:

• Servicing and maintaining large stationary backup Generators
• Door to Door pay, and overtime paid at 1.5x evenings/Saturdays and 2x on Sundays
• 37.5 Hours per week
• Training on Electrical fault finding

• UK Driving License
