Company Overview

I am currently partnering a successful third-generation family-owned business, which offers a diverse range of quality products at a fair price across the UK. Supplying to customers both public and private, covering multiple sectors from pharmacies, hospitals to local and combined authorities, and charities.

Now looking for a Junior Management Accountant to join the business, with career progression opportunities available as the business continues to grow.

Salary up to £30,000, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension and more..

Job Role - Junior Management Accountant

  • Produce quarterly P&L, along with commentary, for the Management Team and Board (WP).
  • Produce annual accounts and liaising with external accountants re submissions and tax returns (WP).
  • Carry out sales reconciliations and weekly bank reconciliations (WP).
  • Undertake margin analysis.
  • VAT reconciliations and reporting.
  • Budgeting and forecasting along with variance analysis against the previous period (WP).
  • Monitor stock procurement and stock holding, carry out in depth stock reconciliations.
  • Prepare/assist with monthly managements accounts.

What we need from you?

  • Ideally of 2 years all-round accounts experience at a similar level.
  • AAT Level 4 or Part Qualified ACMA, ACA.
  • Have strong IT skills.
  • Ability to take on additional responsibility, take initiative when necessary.
  • Be highly organized with strong administrative skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Have excellent commercial and operational awareness.
  • Ability to work as part of the team.
