Junior Business Development Manager
Our client, a leading independent retail and institutional structured product provider, currently seeks to recruit for a Junior Business Development Manager to join their team.
Our client is a leading independent retail and institutional structured product provider with four main areas of focus:
- Professional advisers and wealth managers: straightforward, lower risk structured products for professionally advised investors
- Institutional investors / pension fund consultants: structured product solutions that fuse the best attributes of passive, 'smart' beta and structured products together for institutional investors / pension funds
- Family offices / UHNW / HNW investors: bespoke solutions for contacts of the group, including family offices, UHNW and HNW investors
- Strategic alliances: providing expertise and issuer relationships to other financial services institutions interested in offering structured products to their clients
The role will be based from their London office which is close to Portland Street and offers hybrid working.

Position: Junior Business Development Manager
- Our client is currently seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join their team as a Junior Business Development Manager. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, including the BD Director and CEO, and to significantly contribute to the company's sales and business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound telephone calls to build and maintain relationships or schedule meetings
- Serve as the point of contact for all inbound queries from assigned financial advisers
- Provide an exceptional level of customer service
- Implement new sales and marketing campaigns
- Build and develop new relationships with prospective companies
- Help educate financial advisers and enable them to solve their clients’ needs
- Attend and support adviser and industry conferences and other events, as requested
- Enhance and develop existing relationships to increase business levels
- Arrange client meetings for BDMs, including the BD Director
- Proactively follow-up BDM client meetings
- Develop a good working relationship with all BDMs and the BD Director
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must have previous sales experience within financial services
- Exceptional sales skills
- Strong and flexible work ethic
- High-quality interpersonal skills
- Strong relevant IT knowledge (particularly Microsoft Office)
- Excellent English grammar for high-quality, well-written emails
- Highly organized and able to work unsupervised efficiently and effectively
Package:
- Salary to £50,000
- Annual Discretionary Bonus
