IT Systems Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our clients dynamic team. As an IT Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing their IT infrastructure. This is a part-time position, requiring 3 days a week onsite at their Hemel Hempstead location.

Responsibilities:

Systems Administration: Manage and maintain both Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Cloud Services: Proficiency in managing and deploying solutions on Azure Infrastructure, including but not limited to virtual machines, networking, and storage.

Office 365: Administer and support Office 365 applications and services, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication within the organization.

Active Directory: Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory services, including user accounts, group policies, and security settings.

Technical Support: Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.

Infrastructure Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT Systems Engineer.
• Proficient in Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Infrastructure and Office 365.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and related services.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Working Conditions:
This role is based in Hemel Hempstead and requires onsite presence for 3 days a week.
