IT Support Technician
Here’s a fantastic chance for an experienced IT Support Technician eager to level up in your career. Joining a close-knit team, you’ll dive into a varied and broad role, which will provide you with the foundations for long-term technical progression.
For this position, we’re seeking an individual with solid experience at 2nd Line level, adept in supporting Microsoft environments, proficient in networking technology, and with demonstratable experience supporting Cloud technologies.
Based in Ripley (DE5)
Monthly travel required to different sites across the UK
Salary £30,000 - £34,000

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acting as the first point of contact for internal users across the UK
- Ensuring all tickets are logged on internal systems and completed to resolution
- Testing and implementation of new technologies
- Supporting management for internal improvement projects
- Install and maintain user devices
- Carry out network maintenance functions
- Supporting Windows migrations
- Supporting and maintaining Azure/VMware
ABOUT YOU
- Ability to support Microsoft 365 suite, including Microsoft Defender
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently, using your initiative
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish good working relationships
- Confident communicating with non-technical users across the business
- Good working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure and VMware
- Driving license and access to a car
