IT Support Analyst
Exciting opportunity for an IT support Analyst / Service Administrator to work onsite in Yeadon / Leeds Bradford for our leading client. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining a resilient IT infrastructure, delivering quality technical support, and ensuring the seamless alignment of IT services with organizational goals. The post holder will monitor and maintain the computer systems of the organisation, install and configure software/hardware, diagnose and resolve software/hardware faults and manage company accounts with specific suppliers.
- Provide IT services and support to internal users as part of a cross-site team.
- Offer specialist, professional IT consultation and advice in specified areas of expertise, managing systems proactively and professionally.
- Manage site IT equipment/infrastructure, log and update Helpdesk calls, and provide technical support for incidents/problems.
- Implement recommendations to minimize service disruption; build/configure IT hardware/software; maintain systems performance/capacity; document faults/failures.
- Identify potential new technologies that would benefit the business and improvements in the functionality and use of existing systems.
- Maintain the entire backup system from resolving backup issues to ensuring restores are available.
- Maintain the mobile phone accounts including setting up new phones.
- Assist in completing tasks within own area of responsibility for project delivery to agreed timescales; produce accurate documentation for builds, standards, processes and procedures.
- Undertake ad hoc projects and duties to fulfil business needs or departmental objectives.
Experience/skills required
- Team player, with demonstrable ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Excellent spoken and written communication, mentoring and leadership skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills showcasing your positive and helpful attitude.
- Confident use of IT systems, software and diagnostics.
- Proactive and able to operate without direct supervision.
- Interest in problem solving and issue identification.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- As the position is for a mid-sized organisation the individual will need to possess the ability to provide expertise across a whole range of systems.
- Provide a high level of attention to detail.
