Our client, a leading business in the IT sector is seeking an IT Sales Executive to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Due to growth our client is expanding their Sales department and are looking for an IT Sales Executive to join them on a permanent basis, working closely with the Procurement and Business Development teams in order to assist in driving towards sales targets and identifying new opportunities for hardware sales to clients.

This is the ideal role for someone with a minimum of one years’ experience in sales to kickstart their career in the IT sector. You will be a keen and enthusiastic candidate who is confident working towards targets in a fast-paced environment.

Due to the location of the office candidates are required to drive / have access to their own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Be responsible for working towards targets within the Procurement Sales Team, suggesting new initiatives and methods to improve performance and revenue

- Identify new opportunities for hardware sales, using varied approaches to translate enquiries into sales

- Create quotes and proposals for clients, ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail at all times

- Be confident negotiating with clients, closing sales and upselling

- Make appropriate recommendations to clients, upselling where possible

Key Experience:

- Previous experience in an IT / Hardware sales role, or procurement is desirable although not essential

- Minimum of one years’ sales experience

- Proven experience and confidence working towards targets

- Ability to build strong relationships with customers / clients and other departments within the business

- Varied approach of securing new business and maximizing business opportunities

- Confident liaising with colleagues and clients of all levels over the phone

- Used to enhancing knowledge in a specific field, researching updates where necessary
