Position Overview:

As the IT Manager for our school group, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our educational mission by overseeing all aspects of IT infrastructure, systems, and operations across multiple schools. You will lead a team of dedicated IT professionals, ensuring seamless integration of technology into teaching, learning, and administrative processes across our campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the IT department, including recruiting, training, and mentoring team members across multiple school sites.
  • Developing and implementing IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support the educational objectives of the school group.
  • Overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure to optimize teaching, learning, and administrative efficiency across all schools.
  • Managing IT projects related to educational technology initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and alignment with academic goals across the school group.
  • Collaborating with school leaders, teachers, and administrative staff to identify and address technology needs and opportunities within the educational context of each school.
  • Ensuring compliance with data security regulations and implementing measures to protect student and institutional data across the school group.
  • Evaluating emerging technologies and educational software solutions, making recommendations for adoption where appropriate to enhance educational outcomes.
  • Providing technical support and training to school staff to facilitate the effective use of technology in teaching, learning, and school operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within IT management
  • Strong technical expertise across a range of IT systems and educational technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders across multiple school sites.
  • Ability to develop and execute IT strategies aligned with the educational mission and goals of the school group.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects and teams, preferably across multiple sites.
  • Knowledge of data security regulations and best practices applicable to the education sector.
  • Ability to adapt to the unique challenges and opportunities of technology integration in a group of schools.
