About the Role


Our client, a leading company in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a skilled IT Engineer to join their team in Bristol. As an IT Engineer, you will be responsible for providing IT support in a dynamic and challenging environment. This is a permanent position offering a great opportunity to contribute to the field of Defence & Security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolving IT issues and providing technical support to end-users
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, and networks
  • Troubleshooting network and connectivity problems
  • Managing user accounts and ensuring data security
  • Performing regular maintenance activities and updates
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement IT projects
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for IT processes and procedures
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in IT operations
Job Requirements
  • Experience in IT support and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of computer systems, networks, and protocols
  • Knowledge of hardware and software installation and configuration
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) advantageous
