IT Business Analyst - London/hybrid - £60,000 plus bonus and benefits

My client, a market leading global organisation are looking to recruit an ITBusiness Analyst for their London head office. The successful candidate will assist in scope definition, as is/to be process mapping, and validation of future requirements, together with design, implementation & deployment activities. They are planning the next phase of projects to transform their business, moving from tired legacy systems to new systems fit for the future and are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to play a critical role in technical projects delivered by the IT delivery team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with business users, elicit requirements, and translate high level user stories into use cases and detailed functional requirements with acceptance criteria
  • Manage requirement traceability.
  • Work with technical teams supporting business architecture definition & analysis
  • Facilitate requirements workshops with stakeholder groups of varying seniority
  • Complete technical and non-technical business process mapping including 'as-is' processes and 'to-be' design documents
  • Complete user journey mapping and high-level UX analysis, where appropriate
  • Participating in product backlog creation, population, and refinement activities
  • Liaise with the data & compliance teams to ensure robust data modelling and adherence to the relevant compliance, legal and financial regulatory requirements
  • Create test cases/scripts and perform some QA, system integration and user acceptance testing

Key skills:

  • Relevant experience as an IT Business Analyst with a focus on technological change
  • Relevant experience working on finance, reporting, invoicing projects
  • Proven full life-cycle business analysis - must have completed at least one full end to end Project or product life-cycle
  • Experience with ERP, Invoicing and SaaS financial reporting systems such as such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, Infor, Good Data
  • Experience with Timesheet Management Systems
  • Business process modelling and analytical skills
  • Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical solutions
  • Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical designs
  • Experience working with Waterfall and Agile project teams
  • Experience in using project tools to Manage user stories, acceptance criteria and associated test cases
  • Familiarity with the following technologies: Oracle NetSuite, SAP Business One, Microsoft Business Central /Nav, Infor Sun Systems
  • Analytics and Business Intelligence Platforms such as Microsoft Tableau, or Good Data ETZ, Intime, Timesheet Portal, or Evertime Web Based Application Development, Jira / Confluence
