Internal Sales - Freight

Role: Freight Inside Sales
Location: Redditch, Worcestershire
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 DOE
Hours: Mon to Fri 9-5 with 1 hour lunch break

Our client is offering an exciting new opportunity for an Internal Sales Assistant to join and support their sales team. Responsibilities/ Duties:

• Supporting the sales team in managing and expanding the customer base.
• Contacting clients and new potential customers to introduce the full range of transport and logistics services offered
• Booking appointments from leads generated by the sales team
• Dealing with customer queries, either by telephone or email.
• Dealing with any problems that require escalation
• Quoting customer rates
• Covering emails while staff are out of the office.
• General admin via emails

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in inside sales with quotations and customer service
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
