We are currently working with an established local company who are looking for an experienced Internal Communications Officer to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis., you will play a crucial role in ensuring clear and consistent communication across the organisation. This role is home-based, and we are seeking someone who thrives in an independent work environment and is capable of taking ownership of their responsibilities with minimal supervision. Your primary responsibilities will include crafting and amending engaging copy for various internal communication channels, as well as supporting employee engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, edit, and amend compelling content for internal communication channels, including emails, newsletters, intranet articles, and announcements.
  • Independently manage communication projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to gather information and ensure alignment with organisational goals and messaging.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in internal communications, with a strong portfolio showcasing writing and copyediting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and effectively manage time and tasks in a remote/home-based environment.
  • Experience with employee engagement initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
