Interim IT SOX Compliance Specialist

A well known technology-based company offer hybrid working for this 6 month+ assignment. Based from Reading area 1-2 days a month
Your new role

• This interim role will run for c 6 months and is likely to extend beyond this point.
• Ensuring that all ITGC's are fit for purpose and changes to the control framework are delivered for the business.
  - Develop and advise on implementation of IT SOx controls
  - Risk and deficiency mitigation planning and remediation
  - Evaluation of audit findings and coordinate remediation of deficiencies
  - Evaluation of new processes, policies and systems to determine relevance to and impact on the SOx Risk Framework, including the assessment, designing and implementation of new controls based on identified risks.

What you'll need to succeed

• Ideally, you will have trained in a big 4 firm within Audit and have significant experience of both External and Internal Audit as well as SOX from an IT perspective. However, candidates with strong IT SOX experience gained via other routes will also be considered.
• You will be happy being hands-on and a do-er when it comes to SOX testing and remediation.
• You will have excellent communication skills with an ability to "push back" when needed.
• A background in technology or telecoms would be advantageous, but is not essential.

What you'll get in return
Hybrid working (usually 1- 2 days a month in the office in Reading)
Pay rate in the region of £450-550 per day according to experience (in scope of IR35 via umbrella company)
