I am recruiting an Interim Finance Director (6-month fixed term contract) for a private equity (PE) backed multi-site business which is currently going through a significant finance transformation project.

You will lead the large finance team (50) with direct line management responsibility for five key reports: Financial Controller, Head of Finance Improvement, Commercial Finance Manager, FP&A Manager and Investor Reporting Manager.

  • Ensure that a rigorous controls environment is in place and improve systems and processes in line with the growth of the business, driving efficiency and accuracy of the finance function.
  • Presenting reporting packs to the C-Suite, overseeing forecasts and updates for Investors, Lenders and Banks.
  • Leading the annual audit process and review of financial statements for year-end.
  • Delivering the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for approval by the Board. Assisting the CFO with the production of business plans and proposals.
  • Improving finance systems and processes.
  • Supporting on new acquisitions, developments and management agreements.

Your profile:

  • An experienced Finance Director with a background in the property and multisite (e.g. leisure, retail, healthcare etc.) sector.
  • Some of your experience must have been gained in a private equity backed business and you must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage a large team (30+).
  • Proactive, personable (high EQ), able to work at a fast pace.
  • You must be available immediately and able to start a new assignment in early June.
  • Hybrid - 3 days in Central London office / 2 days working from home.
