Interim Finance Analyst

RM Recruit are working with an international charity (NGO) to recruit an Interim Finance Analyst for their team. This role provides professional services to stakeholders and positively contribute for smooth support for operations in the UK and overseas.

These services include budgeting, forecasting, funds management, compliance and reporting to stakeholders. Your output will greatly assist country and regional teams to mitigate risks and support for transformation journey.

Your remit will include, but not be limited to:

• Provide financial information for monthly operation and finance review meetings, consolidated global figures and budget analysis.
• Responsible providing financial data and files for external audits and all audit queries in relation to grant funding (income and expenditure) for statutory accounts preparation and for project audits.
• Analyse Countries financial data to ensure that Regions consolidated financial statements are true and fair reflection of the current financial situation of assigned countries. Take responsibility for developing and improving the operation of and work ethic of finance functions.
• Liaison with regional finance managers on all financial issues related to the country portfolio and report major issues to international finance Controller and Head of finance and corporate services.
• Provide routine and ad-hoc reporting to the management in a form that accurately and clearly articulates the key points and provides analysis & insight.
• Review and oversee the preparation and analysis of Family members Funding Status reports.
• Preparation and review monthly debtor ageing report for all donors.
• Preparing analysis, financial schedules for annual, quarterly, and monthly reports for management decision making

The success candidate will have experience of working in complex organisation and be confident with managing large volumes of data in Excel. Good management and financial accounting experience are must along with Qualified accountant status or actively studying.
