Robertson Bell is excited to be supporting a dynamic property developer, specialising in regeneration schemes, to recruit an interim Development Finance Manager on an initial three-month contract, with the potential for extension.

Our client is in an early phase of their life cycle so, this role presents a fantastic opportunity to make a real, tangible, impact on the organisation’s future success, from both a financial and delivery perspective.  

At present, offices are based in Northwest London with travel required twice per week.

The interim Development Finance Manager will be responsible for;

  • Appraise new investment and development schemes to ensure viability.
  • Providing financial support to operational stakeholders in acquisitions and development teams to ensure delivery without overspend.
  • Writing business cases with in depth analysis and highlighting areas of financial and regulatory risk.
  • Modelling scenarios to review outcomes and guide decision-making, as well as plan robustly.
  • Support the businesses wider financial management and accounting through the provision of financial information and strategic decision.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A qualified accountant with a background in investment/development finance.
  • Well-versed in supporting capital project delivery in the public or private sector, ideally construction projects.
  • A strategic thinker with a excellent communication skills.
  • Advance in their use of Excel and comfortable handling/analysing large data sets.

The contract is Inside IR35 and will be paid via an Umbrella Company.
