Are you an experience Capital Accountant? Do you have previous Local Authority experience? Are you proficient in the closedown of accounts?

Robertson Bell are working alongside a highly respected local government institute to recruit an Interim Capital Accountant for a six month contract. The role is highly flexible with the option of fully remote being available.

The role will be responsible for:

  • Leading the closedown of accounts for all Capital related matters.
  • Adjustments for year end
  • Being responsible for an accurate asset register
  • Co-ordinating all Capital finance and ensuring the organisation is up to audit standard.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an experienced Capital Accountant.
  • Have previous experience of working in Local Government.
  • Be able to lead on a closedown/ yearend for Capital.
  • Be immediately available or on a short notice period.
