Interim Area Facilities Manager

c.£40,000 pro rata

Our client is seeking an Interim Area Facilities Manager to join their HQ in Guildford. Reporting to the Facilities Services Manager, you will oversee teams responsible for managing Surrey's portfolio of 34 sites. This includes a broad spectrum of soft FM services and health and safety responsibilities.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Management of operational performance across their in-house teams and contracted suppliers ensuring adherence to SLA’s and KPI’s
  • Departmental leadership including the mentoring and training of staff
  • Change management and transformation
  • H&S and Compliance management

Person Specification

The successful post holder will possess a significant background in leading the delivery of best-in-class facilities services across a similar multi-site operation, with a focus on delivering high levels of customer service. In addition to developed leadership ability within a comparable collegiate and collaborative environment, you will also possess strong facility and contract management acumen.

This is an interim assignment for c.3 months whilst they make a substantive appointment which the interim candidate is welcome to apply for. Please note that occasional travel to other sites may be required. The post will commence ASAP.
