Interim Accountant

Space 8 Recruitment are looking for an accountant on an interim basis for a period of 3-6 months and will consider full or part time. This will be offered as a fixed term contract. 

Based in Warwickshire, my client needs some extra support to update systems and processes. 

The role: 

There are two parts to this project. 

Firstly the ledgers need moving from excel onto Sage.  They need someone to put the process in place for this and make it happen. 

Secondly, the company has bespoke software in place in two parts of the business and currently this software is not supporting the finance team. This makes simple tasks laborious and so the second part of this project is to get to grips with how to align these systems so that finance gets what it needs from both alongside the Sage implementation. 

Reporting directly into the Head of Finance, your remit is to get this all ship-shape and support the small finance team throughout the transition. 

What are we looking for?

You must be an Accountant (Qual or QBE) and have experience of systems (software) implementation. 

We require that you can commit to completing the whole interim assignment.  

This company is not accessible by public transport.  You must drive and have a vehicle.

What are they offering? 

This role could be part time or full time to suit the successful candidate. It will be a fixed term contract on our client's books.  They offer 25 days hol + 8 bank hols.
