John Williams have partnered with a family run, provincial, general, insurance broker authorised and regulated by the financial conduct authority. They offer the full range of both personal and business insurances to residents and the business community.

An opportunity has arisen to join their busy, vibrant team, adding your insurance and communication skills to secure acceptable renewal conversion and new business growth. They are seeking an Insurance Sales Advisor to join their team based in Hoddesdon.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to further develop their existing insurance skill set and to gain full exposure to an extensive product range and “open” market broking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To learn and adopt internal procedures and CRM to best service client requirements
  • Ensure that all transactions / interactions are compliant
  • To become fully conversant in all personal lines and Micro SME insurance solutions
  • To account manage existing customer renewals to acceptable conversions
  • To offer added value add-on products where applicable
  • To gain  a better understanding of clients needs for up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
  • To be pro-active in canvassing for new business
  • Available to work 1 in 3 Saturdays from 09:00am – 12:00pm

Key Requirements:
  • Fast learner and a passion for customer service
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • IT literate
  • Full UK drivers’ licence (clean) and own transport (office-based role)
