Salary Range: £80,000 to £90,000 (based on candidate experience) + company benefits

Job Type: Permanent (full time)

Hybrid Model:3 days per week in Central London, 2 days remote

Travel: Will require occasional travel between client and organisation offices (UK & Europe)

About the Client and Role:

My client, a respected, internationally operating financial services organisation, requires an experienced Infrastructure Projects Engineer / Architect to join their London Based IT team on a permanent basis.

The candidate will be expected to present cost-effective solutions architecture whilst providing hands-on input across board, applying their strong technical knowledge and skills across a combination of on-prem and cloud technologies including Networks, Cloud (Azure), Office / Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Citrix, Security etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on input across the organisations infrastructure (on-prem & cloud)
• Solutions architecture based on organisation requirement
• Ensuring delivery of cost-effective and fit for purpose solutions
• Develop organisations current infrastructure
• Documentation and review of gaps, and costs in the organisation’s Infrastructure environment
• Request For Information (RFI): Documentation, response review

Essential Candidate Skills:

• 3-Tier Architecture (Dell Servers, Storage, Switches)
• Network troubleshooting
• Azure services (M365), Microsoft AD and complementing services (DNS, DHCP, etc)
• Security (firewalls, Mimecast, Darktrace, etc)
• Citrix
• Strong knowledge of Request For Information (RFI)
• Ability to travel between sites when required (UK & Europe)
• Experience of cost effective design and cost review
• Professional background in financial enviroments
• Related education background or certifications: Togaf, Zachman
